The Großer Gourmet Preis (GGP MV / Baltic Sea) awards have been a well-established institution since 1999. The most distinguished chefs of the province of Mecklenburg-West Pomerania give proof of their extraordinary skills at an unparalleled event – combined with delectably presented food and an accompanying show starring famous artists.

On September 14, 2019, the GGP MV / Baltic Sea returned to its roots. Top chefs such as Ronny Siewert, André Kähler or Ralf Haug treated 180 guests to a truly special gala at the Steigenburger Hotel Sonne in Rostock. SMART GREY.technologies GmbH was one of the main sponsors for the first time in 2019, and the company was able to demonstrate convincingly that world-class gastronomy and green building can very well embrace creativity, sustainability and close local ties without being mutually exclusive.
