As many as 110,000 visitors, among them Dr. Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor, and Peter Altmaier, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, were impressed by the high level of competence of the skilled crafts sector demonstrated at the IHM in March 2019.

“The skilled crafts on view at the 2019 Internationale Handwerksmesse showed clearly how innovative, cutting-edge, digital, versatile and downright stunning this sector actually is“, said Hans Peter Wollseifer, President of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts. “The Internationale Handwerksmesse introduced a vast range of new possibilities, techniques and visions of the future, and offered a closer look at the latest technologies and new product ideas. While the crafts sector keeps a foothold in tradition, it has its sights on the future.“

The company SMART GREY.technologies GmbH was there in 2019 together with 1,000 international exhibitors. It is looking forward to taking part again next year – from March 11 to 15, 2020, with a larger, newly-designed booth and many exciting product innovations for ecologically sustainable architecture projects.
