Smart Grey goes China

Green building, solar panels, wind turbines and electric cars – China has taken a leadership role in the field of renewable energy. According to the Handelsblatt business newspaper, China has become the largest manufacturer, exporter and installer of solar modules, wind turbines and electric vehicles in the world. As early as 2017 the country was contributing more than 45 percent to global investment in renewable energy – and the rising trend continues. China is a game changer in the field of alternative energies and a trailblazer for green urban development. The government has budgeted further investments in the billions.

During this year‘s Hanse Sail Rostock held in August 2019, SMART GREY.technologies GmbH presented its product portfolio to a high-ranking delegation of the People’s Congress from Hefei, a city of 8 million inhabitants.

Animated discussions took place with the Chinese guests around both the SMART GREY SHIELD as well as the AMBIENA Heat Wall against the backdrop of their future application in the Province of Anhui and in Anhui’s capital of Hefei. SMART GREY representatives have been asked to present the company‘s solutions at the Technologiemesse trade fair scheduled for mid-September.

There was also an agreement towards the outfitting of a residential property and an office wing with the AMBIENA Heat Wall. The first delivery to China of AMBIENA heat panels will take place on September 20, 2019. Employees of SMART GREY.technologies GmbH will be installing the panels and demonstrating to the Chinese company and the authorities how the heating system works.
